After 44 days in Sicily, sadly we decided to move north and continue our journey to discover other Italian regions and follow our plan. We truly loved the time spent in Sicily and are already envisioning our next trip back to this wonderful island. Next, we explore Maratea, Cilento and then we continue sailing north to the Costiera Amalfitana.
Many sailing friends, as well as sailing blogs, had fed that curiosity. It is now our time to taste first-hand the most iconic Sicilian archipelago and see if it is really meant to be one of the best sailing destinations in the Med.
This time we spend some days in two of the most iconic Sicilian destinations: Palermo and Cefalù. Both cities share rich and unique historical backgrounds that will capture the attention and interest of any visitor. Here is how our short summary of the days spent there.
We continue our journey jumping from one island to the next one.
